Adding products
You can add products to your store from the Products page in your admin. Each product needs a SKU, name, and slug to get started. You can then fill in pricing, images, categories, and other details in the product editor.
Before you start
Before adding products, make sure you have:
- Product images ready (at least 1000x1000 pixels recommended)
- Product descriptions written
- Pricing decided
- Shipping settings configured if you're selling physical products
Adding a new product
- From your admin, go to Products
- Click Create Product
- Enter the product details:
- SKU - A unique identifier for this product (e.g.
SKU-123456) - Name - The title customers see in your store
- Slug - The URL-friendly version of the name, auto-generated as you type the name (e.g.
car-book)
- SKU - A unique identifier for this product (e.g.
- Click Create product
You'll be taken to the full product editor where you can set pricing, upload images, assign categories, and configure stock and shipping.
Tip
Products are created as drafts by default. Remember to publish them when you're ready for customers to see them.
Adding product images
Good product images help customers make purchasing decisions:
- In the product editor, scroll to the Images section
- Click Add images or drag and drop files
- Reorder images by dragging them - the first image becomes the main product image
- Add alt text to each image for accessibility and SEO
Product image uploads count towards your plan's storage allowance. If your storage limit is exceeded, you will need to free up space or upgrade your plan before uploading more images. See Media Library — Storage limits for details.
Tip
Use consistent image sizes and backgrounds across your products for a professional look.

A good product description tells customers what they need to know:
- Start with the most important information
- Use bullet points for specifications
- Include dimensions, materials, or care instructions where relevant
- Focus on benefits, not just features
