Media library

The media library stores all your images, videos, and files in one place. Keep your media organised so you can quickly find and use assets across your store.

Accessing the media library

1. From your admin, go to Design > Media Library
2. Browse, search, or upload files

You can also access the media library when adding images to products or pages.

Uploading files

Upload methods

• Drag and drop - Drop files onto the library
• Click to upload - Use the upload button to browse
• From URL - Import images from web addresses

Supported formats

• Images - JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP
• Videos - MP4, WebM
• Documents - PDF

Storage limits

Your plan includes a storage allowance for uploaded files. A progress bar at the top of the media library shows how much storage you have used.

• Under 80% — uploads proceed normally
• 80–100% — an amber warning indicates you are approaching your limit
• 100–105% — a red warning is shown but uploads are still allowed during this grace period
• Over 105% — uploads are blocked until you free up space or upgrade your plan

Storage usage is also enforced when uploading product images and branding assets (logo, favicon). The storage total is recalculated every 15 minutes.

Organising media

Folders

Create folders to organise your files:

1. Click New Folder
2. Name your folder
3. Drag files into the folder

Suggested folder structure:

• Products
• Banners
• Blog
• Brand assets

Search and filter

Find files quickly:

• Search by filename
• Filter by file type
• Sort by date or name

Editing images

Basic editing is available in the library:

1. Select an image
2. Click Edit
3. Make adjustments:
   • Crop and resize
   • Adjust brightness/contrast
   • Add alt text
4. Save changes

Image optimization

The media library automatically optimizes images:

• Compression - Reduces file size without visible quality loss
• Responsive sizes - Creates multiple sizes for different devices
• Lazy loading - Images load as customers scroll

This helps your store load faster for customers.

In products

1. Edit a product
2. Click Add images
3. Select from the media library or upload new
4. Arrange the order

In pages

1. In the page builder, add an image component
2. Select from the media library
3. Adjust size and positioning

In other areas

The media library is available wherever you can add images:
