Summary metrics
The report opens with four key figures:
Total Revenue The gross revenue from all orders in the selected period, before discounts.
Total Orders The number of orders placed within the selected date range.
Total Discount Given The total value of discounts applied across all orders. Use this to measure the cost of your promotions.
Net Revenue Total revenue minus discounts. This is your actual earned revenue for the period.
Revenue over time
A time-series chart shows how your revenue is distributed across the selected period. You can switch the granularity to suit your analysis:
- Daily — best for short date ranges (up to a few weeks)
- Weekly — good for monthly views
- Monthly — best for longer periods (3+ months)
Use this chart to spot peaks, dips, and seasonal patterns in your sales.
Revenue by payment type
A breakdown showing how much revenue came from each payment method:
- Stripe — card payments processed via Stripe
- Revolut — payments via Revolut Pay
- Wallet — customer wallet balance used at checkout
- Cash — cash on delivery or manual payments
This helps you understand which payment methods are most popular and plan your payment gateway strategy.
Revenue by country
A table showing revenue broken down by customer country, including:
- Country — the destination country for orders
- Order Count — number of orders to that country
- Revenue — total revenue from that country
- Average Order Value (AOV) — average spend per order
Use this to identify your strongest markets and spot opportunities to focus marketing efforts.

Using insights
Track growth over time
Compare the current period against a previous equivalent period to measure growth. For example, compare this month versus last month to see whether revenue is trending up or down.
Identify payment method trends
If one payment method is disproportionately popular, ensure you are optimising the checkout experience for it. If a method has low uptake, consider whether it is well-positioned in your checkout flow.
Focus on high-value markets
Countries with a high AOV are worth targeting with marketing spend. Countries with high order counts but lower AOV might benefit from upsell strategies or bundle offers.
