Subscription
Subscription management lets you choose a plan and pay for your Hanut.io subscription. Once subscribed you can view your current plan, payment method, and billing address from the same page.
Accessing subscription settings
- From your admin, go to Settings > Subscription
- If you are on a trial, plan cards are shown so you can subscribe
- If you already have an active subscription, your plan details are shown instead
Permission required
Only users with the Subscription Management permission can access this page.
Choosing a plan
When you are not yet subscribed, the page shows available plan cards. Each card displays:
- Plan name
- Monthly fee (plus VAT for Malta)
- Transaction fee bands — tiered rates applied to your sales volume
Click a plan card to select it, then fill in your billing details and continue to payment.
Trial expiry
If your trial is expiring soon, a warning banner appears at the top of the page showing the expiry date. Subscribe before the trial ends to avoid any interruption.
Billing details
Before proceeding to payment you must provide billing information:

VAT number
If you do not enter a VAT number, you will not be able to recover the VAT paid on your subscription. This applies to Malta-registered businesses.
After completing the billing form, click Continue to Payment.
Payment
The payment step shows an order summary and a card entry form:
Order summary
- Plan name and monthly fee
- VAT amount (18%) if your billing country is Malta
- Total due today
Payment details
Enter your card details using the Stripe payment form.
Transaction fees
Transaction fees based on your sales volume are calculated at the end of each billing period and added to your monthly invoice. They are not charged at the time of subscription.
Click Subscribe to confirm your payment. Click Back to return and edit your plan selection or billing details.
Active subscription
Once subscribed, the page shows three panels:
Plan details
- Plan — the name of your current plan
- Status — Active or Past Due
- Monthly Fee — the base monthly charge (plus VAT if applicable)
- Next Billing Date — when the next payment will be taken
Payment method
- Card — the card brand and last four digits on file, or Invoice if you are billed by invoice
- Billing Email — the email address invoices are sent to
Billing address
Your full billing address including name, company (if provided), address lines, city, postal code, country, phone, and VAT number.
Permissions
This page requires the Subscription Management permission. Users without this permission will not see the Subscription menu item.
